Travis Kelce has been spoiling girlfriend of nearly 7 months, Taylor Swift, but just how much has the Kansas City tight end spent on his new belle? Experts estimate he’s already dropped half his NFL salary on the billionaire pop star.
Just two weeks ago on March 17, the couple was spotted at the elite Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, a spot frequented by celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet, who are known to pay annual fees upwards of $10,000, as mentioned by a source to The New York Post. The pair appeared to be slowing down and enjoying their time off, however, the 34-year-old’s financial expenditures have hardly slowed, particularly in support of his relationship with Swift.
The New York Post’s expert, Valerie Greenberg, also reveals Kelce’s visit to see Swift in Singapore on March 8 might have cost close to $570,000 saying, “He isn’t afraid to open his heart and his wallet.” This extravagant expense is just one of three international private jet trips he’s embarked on, sometimes for a mere 14-hour visit, to spend time with his 34-year-old girlfriend since their relationship became public knowledge in September.
Kelce is currently in the prime of his NFL career, holding three Super Bowl titles and in the third year of a four-year deal worth $57.25 million, which, according to USA Today ranks him as the fourth highest-paid tight end in the league. This relationship, however, might be costing him significantly, potentially more than half of his over $14 million yearly salary, with Greenberg estimating as much as $8,232,229 million being spent.
After selling his $995,000 modest Kansas City home in 2019 that was “turning into a tourist attraction,” the football star purchased a $6 million mansion in October located in Leawood, an affluent Kansas City suburb. The home is not only larger, but offers more privacy for the NFL star and his pop star girlfriend.
Kelce’s grand gestures don’t stop at real estate, as he spent a significant sum to support Swift and her entourage at the Super Bowl with a $1 million suite, reports TMZ. Additionally, he’s known for flying private to Swift’s international performances, including trips to Argentina and Australia, with costs for these flights ranging from $300,000 to $340,000, as confirmed by aviation experts to The Post.
On Valentine’s Day, Kelce went all out with gifts for Swift, allegedly totaling close to $16k, according to Page Six. The gifts included a lavish Venus et Fleur rose arrangement, a 24-karat gold rose sculpture, and luxury items from brands like Dior, Bottega Veneta, Celine, and Hermès, totaling thousands. He also commissioned custom bracelets with “TNT” spelled in yellow gold and pave diamonds, showcasing his commitment to celebrating their love extravagantly.
