A naked man was seen walking through the streets of Grimsby after smashing through a window of a house, Grimsby Telegraph reports.
It is believed he was escaping from an abduction on Saturday afternoon, having reportedly broken through the front window of a house in Convamore Road to flee abductors – badly wounding his hand in the incident.
In photos he appears to be carrying something in his right hand, with one witness telling the Grimsby Telegraph they thought it may have been his other hand, which may have been severed during the escape.

The man sought refuge in a shop across the road, later being treated by paramedics at the scene before he was taken to hospital.

Detective Inspector Rhod Troake, of Humberside Police, said: “A man was taken to hospital where he was treated for injuries and has since been released.
“Several lines of enquiry are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances that led to the man’s injuries.

“I want to reassure the community that we believe this to be an isolated incident with no further threat to the public.”
Witnesses have described what they saw that day, with reports of smashed glass from the ground floor window of the house and medical staff at the scene.
One person told the Grimsby Telegraph: “Apparently the man jumped out of the window without any clothes on and ran across the road to a shop.
“It looks like he was treated by paramedics in the shop.”

According to the Sun, someone else said: “I was sitting at home about 4pm and heard a massive crash.
“I looked out and saw an old-ish white bloke had gone crashing through the big window.
“There was glass all over the front garden.

“The man was completely naked.
“He had long scruffy hair and blood was gushing from his right arm.
“He was shouting, ‘Someone help me, I’ve been kidnapped’.”
Police have since launched an investigation, with officers reportedly seen carrying out door-to-door enquiries, while crime scene investigators have started searching the street for evidence.
