‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ actresses Belle Mariano and Kaila Estrada share their thoughts on the show’s success and how it changed their lives.In a recent interview, Belle Mariano shared that she’s amazed by the love and support fans have shown her and the rest of the cast and crew of Can’t Buy Me Love as the series has received a lot of praise on several platforms.
“I’m still speechless,” Belle shared, “Kasi grabe yung pagmamahal na binigay nila sa’min.”
She went on to say that on Netflix and other platforms that show Can’t Buy Me Love, you could feel the love fans have shown for the characters and storyline.
Belle emphasized the role fans played in the show’s success. “We really couldn’t have done it without you guys. You guys are a big part of the success [of Can’t Buy Me Love].”
Kaila Estrada echoed Belle’s gratitude, saying, “Super grateful kaming lahat. Thank you so much for supporting the show.”
Reflecting on the impact of Can’t Buy Me Love on their lives, Belle shared that the journey has helped broaden her perspective on acting. “The entire journey doing Can’t Buy Me Love, it made me realize that there’s more pa pala than just acting.
“You develop something even more beautiful, and yung family and relationship mo with the cast.”
Belle explained, “It’s a big help when it comes to portraying your character. Sobrang dami kong natutunan.”
Belle also added that she fell in love with the whole cast, and most especially her character, Caroline Tiu.
For Kaila, she shared that she learned a lot from her co-stars, and agreeing with Belle’s statement on the relationship the cast has built. “The genuine bond that we had made the work so light, kahit na mabigat yung mga eksena namin, lalo na sa Tiu Family.”
Kaila added that she believes the Tiu Family are so well-connected and bonded off-screen that it made the work light. According to Kaila, “there’s just genuine love there, so ang saya. It’s a great experience.”
Despite the relationship Belle’s character, Caroline, and Kaila’s character, Bettina, have on-screen, it is a stark contrast to how Belle and Kaila’s relationship is off-screen, and both Belle and Kaila share how proud they are of each other.
