Oliver Moeller reveals declining offer to enter showbiz 12 years ago

Oliver Moeller faces the press

Pagbabalik-tanaw ng sporty lawyer, “Crazy story is, 12 years ago, Erickson already reached out to me.

“He really asked me if I wanted to try out showbiz at the time.

“Admittedly, I was still 20 years old. I was pretty young. I was in my first year of law school. I had different priorities at that time.”

Isinunod ang kanyang Bachelor of Laws at nagtapos noong 2016.

Kumuha siya ng master’s degree in public international law and international law. Natapos niya ito noong 2020.

Sino raw ang mag-aakalang itatakda pala ang pagiging celebrity niya.

“And three weeks ago [through ‘EXpecially For You], the stars aligned and here we are now,” sabi ng binata.

RIGHT TIMING TO ENTER SHOWBIZ

Sabi niya, “I believe my legal career, the stuff I know now, the stuff I learned, the things I’ve gone through in the last 12 years, including my amazing support group, my close friends and my family, I’m pretty confident in myself and the people behind me.”

Bukod sa pagiging parte ng isang law firm sa Cebu, aniya, “I still manage our family business, and I have other responsibilities back in Cebu.”

Sabi niya, “I just really want to share my advocacies. I’m super into fitness, sports, providing free legal education, as well.

“And I love to share that now that we all have a platform, and people are watching. I love to share that with everyone.”

OFFERS COMING HIS WAY

Sabi niya, “People started following me on Instagram and reaching out, there are a lot of opportunities coming in.

“Honestly, I didn’t know if I had the time to personally manage all of those opportunities.

“When I was weighing all my options, there were offers on the table. So, I was to speak with Erickson, with his team multiple times…

“Which is why I’ve decided that if I’m going to decide to try this challenge, which is showbiz industry, I feel like Cornerstone was the best partner for me.”
