The triangle relationship Hyun Bin – Song Hye Kyo – Song Joong Ki has come to an end
On the afternoon of May 7, the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony officially took place. Previously, this year’s Baeksang caused some controversy surrounding the nominations and when the results were announced, there continued to be unfortunate controversies. Regarding the TV series’ Daesang, this year instead of an individual, the entire crew of the movie Moving was named. This result was enthusiastically responded by the audience because last year, Moving caused a global fever thanks to its excellent script and great acting from the entire cast.
Maybe you don’t know, but Daesang is an award not just for actors. Because of that, in the history of the prestigious Baeksang Award, only 10 actors have ever had the honor of being named. That’s why actors like Lee Min Ho, Song Joong Ki or Kim Soo Hyun all want to once reach this prestigious title.
As of now, only Hyun Bin is the only actor to have ever received a Daesang at Baeksang. He achieved this honor in 2011 thanks to the blockbuster Secret Garden starring Ha Ji Won. The Secret Garden is one of Son Ye Jin’s most famous films. 12 years have passed, until now Hyun Bin is still the top male god in Korea with many notable projects in both television and film.
During his career, Hyun Bin has received two major awards (Daesang) for the masterpieces The Secret Garden (2010) and Crash Landing on You (2019). This is considered a worthy achievement for Hyun Bin’s dedication to acting. However, Son Ye Jin’s husband has not had any notable film awards, despite participating in many projects in the past.
