After not being able to celebrate her 18th birthday last year due to TAPE and the show’s fiasco, “Eat Bulaga” hosts surprised Ryzza Mae Dizon with a debutante cotillion this year to mark a momentous milestone of her turning into a lady.
On June 12, the hosts orchestrated an 18-rose dance for Dizon, who’s celebrating her 19th birthday this year, featuring her brothers alongside the show’s male hosts, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo, Allan K., Joey de Leon, and Vic Sotto.
Dizon was in tears as she danced with the important men in her life, with her co-hosts, including Atasha Muhlach, crying in the background.
“Kasi naman nung isang taon, hindi siya nakapag debut,” said Sotto. “Nagka-exodus,” added Allan K.
The hosts also prepared a slideshow of greetings for Dizon featuring her fans, real-life friends, and fellow celebrities, including Jimmy Santos, Julia Barretto, and Zanjoe Marudo, among others.

“Puro career no, walang love life. Ako ‘yun ang wish ko sa kanya, 19 na pwede na yan,” said Allan.
“Basta para sakin, 9 years old ka pa rin,” added Sotto.
On TikTok, the netizens recalled the time when Dizon first celebrated her birthday in the show—her 7th birthday—when she wished for spaghetti and pancit, which was granted and brought her to tears.
This year, Dizon received gifts from her co-hosts, including a camera from Carren Eistrup, an edited picture with the Muhlach’s family, boxing gloves from Miles Ocampo, and a Chanel bag from Maine Mendoza.
The 19-year-old host was also gifted a ginataang kalabasa from her mother, which brought Dizon to more tears. “Sabi ko nung nakaraan pa, ‘Ma wish ko lang sa birthday ko may ginataang kalabasa na may sitaw’ kasi favorite ko tapos wala sa bahay kala ko nakalimutan niya,”
Dizon rose to fame after winning Eat Bulaga’s Little Miss Philippines in 2012. She is currently the second-youngest host on the variety show. In 2013, the actress-host had her own talk show entitled “The Ryzza Mae Show.”
Over the years, Dizon has won awards for hosting and acting, as she appeared in the films “Si Agimat, si Enteng Kabisote at si Ako,” “My Little Bossings,” and “Princess in the Palace,” among others.
