Former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale is pregnant with her first child.
Announcing the news on Instagram, the 35-year-old – who played Sharpay Evans in the hit show – shared a snap of her looking down at her bump alongside husband Christopher French:

Writing on his story, he said: “Hey everyone. We are so moved and filled with joy by the amazing and beautiful outpouring of love from all over the world for this little one.

Ashley’s former Disney co-star Vanessa Hudgens, who starred as Gabriella in High School Musical, wrote: “Just the freaking cutest.”

Ashley and film and TV composer Christopher have been married for six years, tying the knot in 2014 a year after getting engaged.

As well as starring in High School Musical, Ashley is also well-known for playing Maddie Fitzpatrick in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
