On February 27, 2024, aespa memeber Giselle took to her Instagram Story to post a photo for her followers. The photo itself was nothing out of the ordinary. The photo is of Giselle holding a bottle of strawberry milk alongside the caption, “Strawberry milk for today.”
However, soon after the photo was shared online, a Chinese Weibo user shared a screenshot of the post. Along with the screenshot was the caption, “What great timing to talk about strawberry milk.”
It appears the Chinese netizen was mocking Giselle for posting an update while her fellow member, Karina, was embroiled in dating news with actor Lee Jae Wook.
As of writing, the post criticizing Giselle has received thousands of likes, shares, and comments. Many took to the comment section to agree with the Chinese netizens, saying that Giselle should have refrained from posting while the news of Karina and Lee Jae Wook’s romance was still hot.
