Alden Richards couldn’t be more grateful for getting a chance to work with Julia Montes for the very first time.
On his Instagram account, the Kapuso actor took time to promote his new romantic-drama film, Five Break-Ups and a Romance, that he stars with the Kapamilya actress. Sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures from the production, Alden penned a sweet message showing just how much he appreciated sharing a project with Julia.
“Jules, how do I even start to describe you? First time meeting you was a breath of fresh air.
He continued, “Thank you Jules… sa lahat lahat (alam mo na yun). You deserve everything that’s coming your way, dahil pinakita mo sa amin yung totoong ikaw at uulitin ko, ‘WORTH IT’ ka dahil mabuti kang tao.”
The local star, who serves as a producer for Five Break-Ups and a Romance, also expressed his gratitude towards the film’s director, Irene Emma Villamor, for the lessons he learned from her during the production.
Maraming salamat sa lahat ng natutunan ko sayo sa pelikula na ‘to, may it be work or personal.
“Thank you for believing in me sa lahat ng aspeto. I’m very grateful, Direk,” he added.
On getting paired with Alden for the first time, Julia said in an interview with Ogie Diaz that she was slightly taken aback when she first heard of the proposal.
Five Break-Ups and a Romance serves as Julia’s comeback film since 2016. The actress had been busying herself as an incoming third year business management student at the Southville International School and Colleges, but she was motivated to return to acting as she saw a great potential in the film.
[B]ut this time, nung pinitch ito sa’kin, biglang yes po ako, parang first time ko na-excite,” she said.
Five Break-Ups and A Romance premiered in Philippine cinemas on Oct. 18.
