Andi Eigenmann bids farewell to mom Jaclyn Jose: ‘Nasa paraiso ka na, Nanay. Pahinga ka na’

Andi Eigenmann wrote a heartfelt message to bid her farewell to her mom, renowned actress Jaclyn Jose, who passed away on March 2 due to a heart attack.

On her social media page, Andi posted a carousel of photos from her late mom’s inurnment.

Parati kitang makikita,” Andi penned.

The former actress also added a poem she previously posted for Jaclyn.

The actress ended her message with a white heart emoji, saying: “Nasa paraiso ka na, Nanay. Pahinga ka na.”

Alongside Andi’s post were photos of a hand where a butterfly was resting, a sunflower bouquet, and the urn where the veteran actress’s ashes were placed, surrounded by her photos and various flowers.

She previously shared some Instagram stories and replied to some tributes for her mom as she, her family and friends had a private wake for Jaclyn.

Angeline Quinto, Isabelle Daza, Camille Co, Tricia Gosingtian, Cherry Pie Picache, Bullet Dumas, Vina Morales, were among those who sent their condolences in the comment section.

Andi’s paternal brother, actor Gabby Eigenmann, who stayed by his sister’s side, also expressed love and care for the actress.

“Love you Andeng,” he said.

During the last day of her mother’s wake, Andi gave an emotional speech expressing her gratitude towards her mother’s friends in the showbiz industry who went out of their way to pay respect to the late actress.

Andi added how Jaclyn had a huge heart that despite giving all the love towards her children, she still became a mother figure to other celebrities.

“Ganun kalaki yung puso niya, sobra sobra niya kami minahal.

She went on: “Besides dedicating her life to me and my brother, she also dedicated her whole life to her craft. She’s been so passionate about it.

Andi’s partner, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, also shared a photo of himself and Andi as he honored his partner’s mom.

“Hinigugma kaw namo tanan Nanay 🤍🕊️ (Minamahal ka namin lahat Nanay),” he penned.

Philmar also reposted some of Jaclyn’s sweet posts for her daughter and grandchildren as well as the last Father’s Day greeting that the late actress wrote for him.

“Lisod sanan sakit sab karajaw para sa ako na waya nakaw kay ikaw an Nanay, Lola nan ako pinakamahal sako kinabohe koman [It’s hard for me to be without you because you are my mother, grandmother (to my children), the most dear to me.],” the surfing champion expressed.

Thank you for all the time you have given us. You always have a place in my heart Nanay),” he added.
