Angelica Pamganiban treated her followers to a tour of her cozy and kid-friendly halfway house in Manila.
In her latest vlog, Angelica roamed her fans in their house which is about a two-hour and 30-minute drive away from their residence in Subic. The actress also noted the minimalist style of it for the safety of her one-year-old daughter, Amila Sabine whom she calls “Baby Bean.”
“Nananawa na rin ako kaka-check-in sa mga hotels and nanghinayang na rin naman ako na maghotel nalang kami ng maghotel, syempre magastos and nakakapagod,” Angelica said.
“Minimalist style siya, wala talagang gamit, dahil mayroon kaming baby and isa pa halfway house lang naman siya,” she added.
The 37-year-old actress also shared reasons for buying the house, including its measurement, proximity, long-term amenities,” and affordable price.
“At least dito nakakahinga ka pa rin, marami ‘yung kwarto, maganda ‘yung lay-out, maganda ‘yung floor plan,” she said.
Angelica made sure to maximize her new house’s functionality right from the entrance, where she placed a cabinet to store her shoes and where their family and guests could sanitize themselves first.
For the living and dining rooms, the actress puts Baby Bean’s safety as a top priority by putting away things she could reach. The place also features a dimmable ceiling light for “dramatic effect” and paintings for a pop of color. Completing the homey setup is a couch, a six-person dinner table, and an organizer.
A simple yet relaxing space away from work is all Angelica and her non-showbiz partner Gregg Homan wanted for a bedroom. Maintaining the house’s minimalist concept, Angelica filled the place with just a bed, side tables, and their closet—no TV or paintings. Angelica said she wanted to make her bedroom a “zoned-out” place for the purpose of resting.
“Gusto ko kapag pumasok ako sa kwarto na ‘to, wala nang kabusyhang makikita, kumbaga nagzo-zoned out ka na.” the actress remarked.
Moreover, the room also has a bathroom where the actress installed a watch for monitoring purposes. She explained, “Naging ugali ko na ‘to na may nakikitang orasan kasi kapag nagsa-shower ako, lalo na kapag papunta akong work.”
The “bar” is Angelica’s favorite spot where she entertains visitors and guests to keep away distractions from Baby Bean, especially when sleeping. It features a sofa bed, wine chiller, turn table for sounds, and balcony.
A baby room has many special things made just for them. From baby clothes down to their baby shampoo to washing their delicate hair, parents make sure that their kids are safe.
For Baby Bean’s bedroom, Angelica made sure to keep the area spacious yet functional with a montessori bed by the wall and a play/learning table at the center. The room also has a toy organizer, a cute cloudy night light, and a baby camera for security.
The kitchen is frequently referred to be the center and soul of a house. The fact is, no matter how big or tiny the house you live in, you can all agree that a home is incomplete without a kitchen.
In Angelica’s house, she keep it as it was the moment she bought the place. This is the place where she does breast pumping as well as sterilizing a baby bottle. It also contains Gregg’s coffee machine, a puree maker for Baby Bean, cabinets for kitchen utensils, and a laundry area.
Prior to taking fans around her cozy abode, the actress also showed off her new farm lot in Tanauan, Batangas in her vlog uploaded on YouTube on Nov. 4.
Angelica said she bought the property about a decade ago using her earnings from the remake of the teleserye Pangako Sa ‘Yo.
“Ito po ang katas,” she said. “Gusto ko talaga ng farm dahil parang ang sarap na pag weekend, meron kayong para bang getaway from work, sa kaguluhan sa Manila,” she added.
