Former Kapamilya actress Angelika dela Cruz came to the defense of her younger sister, Mika, after several rumors circulated on social media about her pregnancy. This came after wedding photos of the Goin’ Bulilit alum surfaced online and an alleged baby bump was spotted by some netizens.
Mika recently got married to her longtime partner and fellow actor, Nash Aguas, in an intimate wedding in Tagaytay.
On her official Facebook account, Angelika reshared a post by a local Facebook page about her sister’s wedding. Some of the comments in the post were alluding to the pregnancy of Mika which led to the surprise wedding of the couple.
Angelika then denied these rumors but joked about her sister into wanting a baby girl in the future. She added how she only hoped the stories were true as she also wants to be an aunt to her younger sibling’s children.
“My sister is not pregnant po please make sure na totoo bago po kayo mag post Salamat … how I wish totoo … Mika Dela Cruz pls baby girl ah Wala Pa tayo babae sa family 😝 hehehe,” she dismissed.
Friends and fans of Mika came to support her in Angelika’s comment section. Some of the fans maintained that the former child actors are at the right age to marry already.
“Korek..sana nga totoo eh..mas matutuwa pa silang lahat .. mga marites talaga masyadong Advance mag isip… Alam ko naman iniisip nyo na ahhh kaya pala pinakasalan dahil buntis! Sobrang nagmamahalan yong dalawa kaya tigilan nyo na ang pagiging advance mag isip.. hinatayin nalang natin meron na talaga,” a fan expressed.
“Sana nga magkaanak na sila at babae para maganda mana sa mga Dela Cruz,” another fan shared.
Mika and Nash tied the knot at Adriano’s Events Place and Prayer Garden in Tagaytay. Several of their fans were caught by surprise as there was no announcement prior to their wedding day.
The couple started dating in 2018 and have since then remained loyal to each other.
