Over a month after Claudine Barretto disclosed her resentment toward Angelu de Leon, the latter declared she has no ill feelings for the former, even expressing hope for their reconciliation.
De Leon spoke about the matter during an interview with comedian-showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz, as seen on his YouTube blog on Wednesday, March 27.
The subject was brought up after Diaz asked De Leon what her initial reaction was when Barretto, who was at Gladys Reyes’ party at the time, said she was not open to working on a reunion project with the actress-turned-politician.
De Leon attended Reyes’ party as well but had already left when Barretto spoke about their tiff.
“‘Yung initial reaction ko talaga [was], ‘Buti na lang wala na ako do’n.’ Gusto mo ng showbiz answer?—Kung nando’n ako, okay lang,” De Leon told Diaz. “Pero kasi, hindi naman ‘yun ‘yung nangyari and I don’t play what-ifs in my life.”
(My initial reaction was, “It was a good thing I was no longer at the event.” Do you want a showbiz answer?—If I were there, it would just be fine with me—but that’s not what happened, and I don’t play what-ifs in my life.)
