Anne Hathaway and Cillian Murphy have been cast in their next big project — a new ad campaign for Versace.
The 41-year-old Interstellar actress and the 47-year-old Oppenheimer star were revealed to be the new faces of the Versace Icons campaign on Tuesday with an announcement from creative director Donatella Versace.
‘Strong, direct, iconic. For me, Anne and Cillian are two of the best actors of today. Exceptionally talented and kind people I admire and respect, looking their best. Very Versace,’ Donatella said in a statement.
The new pairing brings some added star power to the brand, as both stars are Academy Award winners, with Cillian recently earning his Oscar for the title role in Christopher Nolan‘s blockbuster biopic.
In a photo posted to Donatella’s Instagram page with the announcement, Anne flaunted her taut midriff in a three-piece denim ensemble.

‘Anne Hathaway for Versace Icons. @annehathaway, what a talent you are. I am so proud to see your Versace Icons evolution. The collection comes to life when I see you wear it- and your magic comes through in every image. You are… Very Versace ✨,’ Donatella captioned the post.
Anne wore a sleek bustier-style top that highlighted her cleavage, along with a matching jacket that she wore down around her arms and swept back.
The actress completed her ensemble with a pair of high-waisted jeans that were playfully left unbuttoned, and she gazed into the camera with a sultry look as her brunette locks fanned out in alternating strands of straight, curled and frizzed hair.
She wore the same strikingly intimate hairdo in a photo shared on the fashion house’s main Instagram page.
Anne was now dressed in a black jacket with gold buttons fastening it together and decorating the breast pockets.
She appeared to be topless under the jacket, which exposed a small triangle of her flat tummy above her matching black mini skirt.
The Armageddon Time star completed the look with edgy knee-high black leather boots that zipped to the top, and she rested her well-manicured hand over a black Versace handbag.
The brand seemed to have leaned more into releasing images of Cillian from the campaign, possibly to capitalize on his recent Oscar win and his newfound fame in the US, though he has been a reliable fixture in blockbusters — particularly those directed by his longtime friend Christopher Nolan — for years.

Cillian unveiled a more casual and relaxed look in a short video posted to the brand’s page.
In a fragmented video, he appeared in both the suit and a ribbed tan button-up polo-like shirt tucked into a set of black trousers.
‘Clean and classic. It’s Versace,’ he said repeatedly in the clip.
For Donatella’s post announcing his new campaign status, she posted a striking black-and-white photo of the actor emphasizing his chiseled features.
He was dressed in a black zip-up vest featuring a dark matte fabric that he wore without a shirt underneath, exposing his arms.
‘Cillian Murphy for Versace Icons ✨,’ the fashion designer wrote. ‘When I saw Cillian on the set of the shoot, I saw the Versace man in him right away. Strong, direct and iconic! Cillian is one of today’s best actors and I admire and respect him so much. I hope you all love the campaign as much as we loved shooting it.’

Hathaway was previously a Versace ambassador, while Murphy makes his debut with the fashion house for its inaugural Versace Icons men’s campaign. The full campaign will be released on Wednesday
The campaign so far featured images from photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, while their looks were styled by Jacob K, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
The new campaign marks a return for Hathaway, who has already been the face of the brand in the past, while Murphy is making his debut with the fashion house for its inaugural Versace Icons men’s campaign.
Although it’s his first time posing for Versace, he’s bound to the fashion house after wearing an Atelier Versace tuxedo on the night he won his Best Actor Oscar.
The campaign is set to be fully released on Wednesday.
