Bea Alonzo and Dennis Trillo, two of the Philippines’ biggest stars, are set to star together in the upcoming romantic drama series “Love Before Sunrise,” produced by GMA and Viu. The series revolves around the theme of lost love and missed opportunities, focusing on the story of former lovers Atom (played by Dennis) and Stella (played by Bea). They broke up when they realized they had found true love, but at the wrong time. After many years, their paths cross again, and they regret losing each other as both ended up in unhappy marriages.
In a recent media event, Bea and Dennis were asked what they would do if they were in the shoes of their characters, Atom and Stella. Bea, who is currently engaged to Dominic Roque, gave a straightforward answer. She emphasized the importance of full commitment in a relationship and stated that she would not marry someone she couldn’t fully commit to. Bea expressed her dedication to her current partner and shared that she wouldn’t allow herself to go through a similar situation.
On the other hand, Dennis took a more open-minded approach. He mentioned that if he were in Atom’s position, he would consider whether it’s worth taking the risk to pursue a relationship with Stella, considering their history and separate personal lives. Dennis expressed that if he truly loved her and believed it would bring him happiness, he might give it a try. However, if it would only bring complications and headaches, he would choose not to pursue it.
When asked about their own “what ifs” in love, Bea preferred to keep it to herself, stating that she rarely dwells on “what if” scenarios in love. She believes in giving her all when she loves someone. On the other hand, Dennis shared his opinion that having “what ifs” in love can lead to regrets and dissatisfaction with life. He humorously added that his own “what if” would be about being gay in real life, imagining the fun and excitement it would bring with a lot of boyfriends.
