BLACKPINK Jennie Buys Luxury Villa in UN Village for 5 Billion KRW in Full Cash!

BLACKPINK Jennie Becomes Luxury Villa Owner in High-End UN Village

Following BLACKPINK Lisa, Jennie also flaunted her wealth by buying a luxury villa WITHOUT loans!

On November 14, Biz Korea initially reported that the “SOLO” singer bought her new high-end home in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, one of the most expensive neighborhoods in South Korea.

According to the report, Jennie purchased a second-floor household in Villa La Terrace Hannam, which is located in the famous UN Village. The idol finished paying it at the end of July for 5 billion won (3.8 million USD) in full cash (without a loan!) and recently completed the move-in report.

In February 2021, Jennie paid a 10% down payment of 500 million won (383k USD) and signed a sales contract. Two years and five months later in July, she paid the balance of 4.5 billion won (3.4 million USD) and moved in.

Regarding the villa, La Terrace Hannam has 305 to 423㎡ of actual use area, which was launched in 2012. It consists of only 15 households with 3 basement floors to 3 ground floors per building.

It is best known for its geographical scenic spot in Baesan Imsu (mountains to the back and water to the front), an important auspicious site according to feng shui geomancy. The villa also boasts excellent security and privacy protection in Hannam-dong.

Specifically, Jennie bought the household on the second floor with a dedicated area of 244.97㎡ and a supply area of 286㎡ with five rooms and three bathrooms.

Lee Jong Suk, a high-paying actor who is also the boyfriend of “Nation’s Representative singer” IU lived in La Terrace Hannam before, but he now moved to Nine One Hannam.

Prior to moving into her new villa, Jennie was already living in the UN Village, but at the time, she was only renting a luxury villa house where Sean, Jung Hye Young and Psy were currently living.

This truly flaunts Jennie’s social status as only the top 1% and wealthiest people can afford to live here, given the high housing cost in South Korea.

Back on January 16, 2021, Jennie’s birthday, the idol shared a video titled “Hello World,” where she showed snippets of her daily life. In that video, viewers were given a glimpse of Jennie’s luxurious home.

Her house comprises two floors, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The total area of Jennie’s home is 420m2, which is approximately 4,628.48 sqft. It is speculated to cost between 5.5 billion won to 6.5 billion won, or $4.3 million to $5.1 million.

Her house has a bright and airy atmosphere thanks to the all-white furniture and walls in the living room. From her videos and photos, it appears the house uses a lot of windows and has a view of the Han River.

Her bathrooms are also classy and spacious. In addition, Jennie’s home has security cameras installed all over the premises.

Jennie uses luxurious furniture to decorate her home. Her mirror, which she often uses to take selfies and shows several hands holding lipsticks, costs around $1,200.

Her sofa is listed for approximately $10,000, and her bed costs around $28,000.

During Christmas, Jennie splurged and bought a 6.6 million won pine tree, which cost around $5,500.

Luxurious as Jennie’s house is, internet users spotted one free item in Jennie’s collection! During an old interview with Netflix, Jennie asked the studio if she could keep a director’s chair! At the time, people thought she was joking, but she was actually able to bring it home.

Jules Pansu’s sofa pillow printed with an abstract painting costs nearly 80 Euros. Another sofa pillow model from this company costs 86 Euro.

The speaker that Jennie used had a rather strange design, and its price was not cheap, making others only exclaim: These are truly rich people’s speakers. Brionvega radio phonograph speakers cost around 8900 Euros.

She bought a very unique sofa model by Sacha Lakic, truly beautiful from design to color. This “bubble” sofa costs $9,735.

Jennie’s house really has a collection of expensive sofas. Among them, the sofa model from Sacha Lakic Design that costs about 10,000 USD is the most popular.

Lying on this Hastens mattress, priced from 28.625 USD to 32.590 USD, is probably better than staying in a 5-star hotel.

This compact black air purifier looks just like that but costs 6,200,000 won.
