Netizens can’t help but be amazed at the amount of money BLACKPINK’s Rosé is raking in for the brands she represents
On February 1, Sportskeeda reported that BLACKPINK’s Rosé is now the first-ever Asian artist to achieve a whopping $550 million in media value (EMV) over two years for the brands she’s representing.
So far, only Kim Kardashian has pulled off a similar number on a global scale. EMV includes the amount of money brands would usually spend on advertising.
Thanks to her massive influence, Rosé has been the face of brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., Rimowa over the past couple of years. And it’s not just about selling out products – Rosé’s turning every major global fashion event into a media goldmine for these brands.
Last October, a Tiffany & Co. collection inspired by Rosé herself got sold out in only 6 minutes. Rosé bagged Tiffany & Co. a cool $36.4 million in media value, all thanks to her shining moment at the Vision & Virtuosity exhibition in June 2022.
In 2023, Rosé pulled in around $27 million in EMV for brands after major fashion weeks worldwide. At Paris Fashion Week in March 2023, she brought in a sweet $9.9 million for Saint Laurent, surpassing even Hailey Bieber. Rosé’s presence also made the Saint Laurent show the hottest topic at Paris Fashion Week.
