Lisa delivered a special performance at a charity concert in France, stunning the crowd in first solo stage after YG.
On the early morning of January 27 (Korean time), BLACKPINK’s Lisa appeared on the stage of the charity concert Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes, which was held in France. This marked Lisa’s first solo stage since not renewing her individual contract with YG, attracting the attention of fans worldwide.
It is known that even though the concert was scheduled to start at 8 PM (local time), some fans arrived as early as 1 AM to secure the best spots. Particularly, the fan community did not forget to organize a special project, preparing a “sea” of yellow light – Lisa’s favorite color – to celebrate the female idol’s appearance.
Appearing at the charity concert, Lisa surprised everyone by performing the song “SG” with DJ Snake for the first time. This is a song that the two collaborated on and released an MV for in October 2021. As it was the first live performance, the audience erupted with excited cheers as soon as the melody began. Although this segment was short, lasting about 2 minutes, it was enough to leave the fans breathless with excitement for Lisa.
Not stopping there, after retreating backstage, Lisa returned to perform her two solo hits, “LALISA” and “Money.” This solo stage featured the appearance of familiar dancers from YGX, but Lisa showcased an entirely new dancebreak.
Throughout the two performances, hundreds of fans below continuously sang along and cheered for Lisa, making her solo stage seem like a private concert. Lisa was also the closing performer of the concert, a testament to the “special treatment” that France’s First Lady wants to offer to her.
Most surprisingly, under the audience seats, fans discovered the presence of Frédéric Arnault, the rumored billionaire boyfriend of Lisa. Many people suspected that Frédéric Arnault appeared early to support Lisa.
On the other hand, the charity concert Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes was organized by the First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron, and aims to raise funds for The Hospital Foundation.
