BLACKPINK’s Lisa To Become Main Character Of French Novel About K-pop Idol Life

BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s life story is going to be made into a novel, making fans excited

Chinese media outlet Sohu reported on February 4th, “According to foreign media, France’s first K-pop behind-the-scenes novel will focus on BLACKPINK Lisa’s story.”

It added, “The novel was written by a young French author, J.DufresneLamy, and will be published by a publisher well-known for their novels “Steve Jobs” and “The Da Vinci Code.”

Lisa is well known for being treated like a state guest in France recently. The idol attended the 2024 Gala des Pièces Jaunes at Accor Arena in Paris on January 26th (local time). She performed her solo songs “Lalisa” and “Money” on the stage.

The performance was hosted by France’s Hospital Foundation headed by French President Emmanuel Macron’s wife Brigitte Macron, and featured performances by Lisa, Stray Kids, Maroon 5, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams.

In particular, when all the cast members came on stage after the performance, First Lady Macron was seen dragging Lisa to the center and showing their friendship by crossing their arms, drawing attention.

As such, attention is focused on how Lisa’s life as a K-pop idol will be described in a novel.
