Diana Flipo, a close friend of BLACKPINK’s Lisa, mentioned the female idol’s struggles and advised fans to respect her privacy.
On January 19, Thai actress Diana Flipo, who is known to be a close friend of BLACKPINK’s Lisa, mentioned the female idol in an interview with the Thai media site “Daily News”.
Here, the actress mentioned how Lisa never gets to live a teenage life, and mentioned Lisa’s recent trip to Vietnam where the BLACKPINK member get to do things “ordinary people do”.
In particular, Diana Flipo said, “At first, we thought we had to be very cautious when hanging out with Lisa, but she’s more chill than we thought. I think she just wants to be like everyone else, strolling on the streets, doing things that ordinary people do. Because she never got to live a teenage life, she focused on work since she was 14 and achieved success as she is now.
I think she seems happy on the trip to Vietnam because there are no bodyguards, just us five girls. Lisa said she has never had the chance to do things like this during her teenage years, traveling/shopping with friends only. I empathize with her. Everything comes at a cost. She can be very successful, but she lost privacy and opportunities with friends during her teenage years. So every time she comes back to Thailand, we arrange a fun outing for her to enjoy some relaxed moments with family and friends.”
However, Diana Flipo also advised Lisa’s fans to respect the idol’s privacy, saying, “I just want to remind all of Lisa’s fans to please give her some privacy when you see her. Because when someone secretly takes and posts her photos on social media, immediately, everyone will start gather.”
“That’s when she loses the chance to enjoy normal life. If you LOVE her, please wait at least 3 hours or until she leaves the place before posting. There was a time when we were about to leave, and we saw a crowd in front of the store, making it difficult for her”, the actress expressed, adding, “There are also many kind-hearted fans. We know there are fans taking photos but being polite enough to wait for 3 hours before posting. Lisa truly appreciates that. I believe most Blinks are very kind. Only a few of them may post immediately without knowing the consequences. I also understand them.”
