Rosé (Blackpink) became a judge at the French fashion awards
Rosé Blackpink continues to affirm its influence in the fashion world by becoming a judge for an international competition.
On April 29, WWD magazine reported that female Kpop idol Rosé, a member of the group Blackpink, was selected as a judge for the French ANDAM fashion award.
ANDAM stands for National Association for the Advancement of Fashion Arts. This is considered one of the prestigious awards in the French fashion industry and was established in 1989.
This award is held each year to honor and encourage creativity and development in the field of fashion. The award is often given to talented emerging designers, opening up opportunities for them to continue developing their careers.
This year’s finalists will be announced at the end of May, and the awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 27, 2024.
According to WWD, Rosé, along with model – singer Carla Bruni and actress – musician Charlotte Gainsbourg, are among the 13 guest judges. These characters were chosen by Saint Laurent’s Creative Director, Anthony Vaccarello, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the prestigious award.
