BTS’s Jungkook made history on more than one Billboard chart this week!
After debuting at No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 last week, Jungkook’s latest solo single “3D” (featuring Jack Harlow) is now spending its second consecutive week on the chart at No. 58.
Meanwhile, his previous single “Seven” (featuring Latto)—which debuted at No. 1 back in July and has successfully remained on the chart every week since—stayed strong at No. 99 in its 13th consecutive week on the Hot 100.
As a result, Jungkook has now become the first Korean soloist in history to simultaneously chart multiple songs on the Hot 100 (which ranks the most popular songs in the United States) for more than one week.
Additionally, Jungkook has become the first Korean soloist ever to spend 10 weeks on Billboard’s Artist 100, where he charted at No. 60 this week.
“3D” also spent its second consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, in addition to ranking No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 5 on the Global 200. (The song topped all three charts last week.) Meanwhile, “Seven” held steady at No. 3 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 8 on the Global 200 in its 13th week on both charts.
Finally, “3D” rose to a new peak of No. 30 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States, after debuting at No. 34 last week. Meanwhile, “Seven” spent its 13th week on the chart at No. 35.
Congratulations to Jungkook on his historic achievements!
