With a new collection release, the relationship between BLACKPINK’s Lisa and BVLGARI is confirmed to have been resolved
BLACKPINK’s Lisa recently attended the LVMH Watch Week 2024 in Miami to celebrate the launch of BVLGARI’s new watch collection. It is said that Lisa participated in designing BVLGARI’s new limited edition watch product and will also join its promotion as a model. This is also the first collaboration between Lisa and BVLGARI after the CEO Jean-Christophe Babin removed posts about her on his SNS account after the controversy over Lisa’s nude performance at Crazy Horse.
Earlier when the Crazy Horse controversy broke out, Lisa was rumored to have been banned in China. With his removal of Lisa’s pictures, fans poured harsh criticism on the CEO because he did not do anything to protect the brand’s global ambassador.
In the new promotional photo for BVLGARI’s new collection, Lisa stole the spotlight with her fancy beauty despite her simple yet elegant outfit. The watch worn by Lisa is a limited edition made of steel, gold, and diamond with a modern and fashionable design. It is also known that only 1500 watches of this limited edition were produced.
In particular, an edelweiss, the national flower of Switzerland, is engraved on the back of the watch. This flower is also one of the tattoos on Lisa’s back.
The previous watch collaboration between Lisa and BVLGARI also created explosive effects. The watches modeled by Lisa were sold out for all sizes, including 23mm and 33mm, within 12 hours of the collection release.
Apart from the new promotional photo, Lisa also took a photo with BVLGARI’s CEO. The CEO uploaded the photo on his personal Instagram and made a highlight story for this new campaign, proving that the relationship between Lisa and BVLGARI has been resolved.
