In an interview with GMA News Online, the actress said that she found it “amusing” and “flattering.”
“I find it amusing and at the same time nakaka-flatter kasi naiisip niya pa ako,” she shared. “May ganung nirereto siya, may suggestion siyang ganun. Okay naman. Nakakatuwa!”
“In a way, compliment pa nga ‘yun. Parang magandang gesture coming from her na mayroon siyang naiisip para sa akin,” she continued.
Carla, however, shared that she’s having second thoughts about it since the man is in another country.
“Medyo mahirap iyon kasi all the way sa US. Medyo natatakot pa po ako,” she said.
“Not that I don’t want to take her offer or not that I don’t trust her pero sa ngayon, parang tatawanan ko na lang muna. Hindi ko muna i-eexplore ‘yun,” the local actress added.
Kris made the rounds online this month when she offered a “great match” for Carla in the comments section of her health update on Instagram.
The exchange took place when Carla sent love and prayers to Kris when the latter shared that she has started showing symptoms of another autoimmune disease.
“Prayers for you, Ms. Kris,” the Black Rider actress wrote.
To which, Kris replied: “If you’re already in the process of getting annulled[,] we have a doctor friend based in [Orange County] who might be a great match.”
Carla was previously married to Tom Rodriguez. They tied the knot in October 2021 after a 7-year relationship and announced their divorce in June 2022.
Tom is now back in the Philippines after staying in the United States for two years after their split. When asked about the possibility of seeing her ex-husband again, the actress said, “I think naman, okay lang. Ready naman ako.”
