Viewers couldn’t stop laughing at a clip from Dogs Behaving Very Badly.
Dogs Behaving Very Badly viewers were left in hysterics this week, after dog trainer Graeme Hall managed to help a woman successfully train her golden retriever.
In this week’s ep, pet guru Graeme looks back on his time helping Jeanette, who was having trouble with one of her golden retriever, Prince.
Specifically, Jeanette was struggling with Prince’s cheeky behaviour which saw him steal food and other household items, as well as failing to take commands.
The pooch had even been stealing hair scrunchies by pulling them straight out of Jeanette’s hair, while she was wearing them.
But viewers were left in hysterics towards the end of the episode, when Jeanette finally manages to get her retriever to understand some boundaries by waiting at the front door instead of bolting out.
Standing in their hallway, she gives the pooch a treat before telling him to ‘wait’.
The dog does as he’s told, and Jeanette can be seen stepping outside of the house before hugging Graeme in celebration.
Jumping up and down, Jeanette was so happy that she’d managed to curb his feral behaviour.
But there’s something lurking in the background that had viewers laughing at the clip.
While Jeanette is thanking Graeme for all his hard work, the retriever can be seen in the background, staring through the window.
Viewers and Twitter users alike thought it was hilarious, presuming that the dog hadn’t followed instructions to ‘wait’ after all.
Instead, they thought it had snuck into the lounge and up onto the sofa to have a nosey out the window.
But as one viewer pointed out, it could easily have been one of Jeanette’s other retrievers, after it was explained at the beginning that she had three in total, one of which was naughty.
“This is funny, however sorry to spoil it, early in the show she was shown with her 3 retrievers. Still funny tho,” said one.
While another added: “I’ve watched this about 20 times already and it just gets funnier and funnier.”
And a third added: “This wins the internet today.”
And a fourth joked: “How much is that doggy in the window?”
Dogs Behaving Very Badly takes badly-behaved pets and helps transform them into model citizens, with the help of Graeme, who is dubbed ‘The Dogfather’.
Having worked with thousands of dogs and their owners over the years, he’s witnessed pretty much every type of bad behaviour going – and believes that no dog is necessarily naughty, some just need a bit of guidance to learn right from wrong.
