Christian Bables revealed that his first great love was a flight attendant he met before entering showbiz
After bagging the Best Actor trophy in the Metro Manila Film Festival last year for his film Big Night, actor Christian Bables is back again as the lead star of the BMC Films and Smart Films entry Broken Hearts Trip.
In the film, he plays the role of a host and judge of a reality travel show featuring the lives of five brokenhearted LGBTQ individuals who are given a chance to heal in some of the most beautiful places in the country.
“I’ll be playing the character of Alfred, ang host ako ng Broken Hearts Trip.
During the presscon for his new film, the talented actor revealed his own real-life heartbreak, which he first experienced in high school while courting a girl.
‘Yung first nung high school.
Kasi na-re-relive ko yung pain,” he added.
“Maybe because it was my first time to really fall in love? Ayun. Pero nung high school pa yun,” he continued.
When he got into his first serious relationship way before entering showbiz, Christian revealed that the first time he experienced really falling in love was with a flight attendant.
“Sobrang broke pa ako nun. As in hindi pa ako artista. Parang ipinaramdam niya sa akin ‘yung totoong meaning ng love na siguro during that time ‘yun ‘yung totoong love for me. Kasi iba na ngayon. During that time parang gusto kong makaalis sa bahay. Tapos parang ‘yung taong ‘yun ‘yung nagparamdam, quote unquote, ng totoong pagmamahal for me at that time,” he said.
“Inalagaan niya ako parang baby, sugar mommy, parang ganun. Kasi wala akong trabaho, siya may trabaho. Tapos andun (sabi ko), ‘Yung pag naging artista bilhin ko sayo lahat, ganito ganyan.’ Sabi niya, ‘Last na natin itong pagkikita,'” he added.
It turns out ako pala yung other man, boy kasi boy pa ako at that time. Hindi pa ako man. Sakit nun. I learned na don’t settle for less. Para siyang ganun,” he continued.
