It’s been almost a year since Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao went public with their relationship, and in case you didn’t know, they have a five-year age gap, with Cristine being 35 and Marco turning 30 this year.
In Luis Manzano’s latest vlog, the actress said the difference in their age was something she thought about before committing to their relationship.
“Makikita mo pa rin na mayroong levels of maturity differences,” Cristine said.
“Iba naman kasi ang lalaki sa babae,” she added. “Ang mga babae, kaya nila mag mature instantly, pero ang mga lalaki, ang tagal mag mature.”
In the same vlog, Cristine also recalled the beginning of their relationship, which started by working out together.
“Akala ko barkadahan lang ‘yun kasi we were with Jake Cuenca pa noon,” she said. “Then, all of a sudden, si Jake napunta na sa Cebu kasi nag-t-taping.”
“Naiwan kaming dalawa ni Marco, so instead na ma-workout ‘yung physical health namin, na-workout ‘yung feelings namin,” she added.
Cristine also said the qualities that she likes best about the actor are his being family-oriented and God-fearing.
Cristine and Marco went Instagram official with their relationship in April 2023 and talked more about their relationship in a vlog with Bea Alonzo.
Cristine revealed in February that she and her ex-husband, Ali Khatibi, have been annulled for over a year. They have a daughter named Amarah.
