South Korean dancer-actress Dasuri denied any romantic involvement with her “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” co-host Mavy Legaspi amid speculations that she was the third party in his rumored split with actress Kyline Alcantara.

On her YouTube channel on Saturday, February 24, the Philippine-based entertainer whose real name is Dasuri Choi answered questions pertaining to her relationship with Legaspi after they were seen together on multiple occasions, including in an Instagram video of the Kapuso star’s father, Zoren.

“I think they’re talking about the issue late last year. I’m officially saying that I’m not the third party. I will never try to be the third party in my life because I didn’t grow up to be like that,” she said while claiming that her parents raised her to be a “kind” person.

“Wala talagang mangyayari sa’kin na magiging third party (Nothing will ever happen that would make me into a third party). But for the issue, I want to make it clear that I never had the chance to talk about it,” she continued.

Dasuri then clarified one of her sightings with Legaspi in her vlog, saying that it was only a get-together with their co-hosts at a restaurant opening owned by the executive producer of the Kapuso noontime show.

“That time, ‘yung restaurant na ‘yan… someone shot a photo of us because that was the soft opening ng ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ executive producer. So we went there also with [Paolo Contis], [Winwyn Marquez], Arra [San Agustin], and lahat ng hosts,” she said. “Hindi ko alam bakit ‘yun lang ang [finocus] ng account owner na ‘yun. We were together and nandito ‘yung iba because we were late.”

So we went there also with Paolo Contis, Winwyn Marquez, Arra San Agustin, and all the hosts. I don’t know why the account owner focused on us. We were together and others were there because we were late.)

Dasuri further claimed that particular event with Legaspi was “no big deal” and they’re merely close friends. She also pointed out that she “doesn’t care” about the rumors because she didn’t do anything wrong.

“Hindi ko alam na magiging big deal pala ‘yun… Pero naging big pala ang issue na ‘yun kasi ako raw ‘yung third party. Kadate raw pala ako. Why would I do that? Close kaming lahat. It’s nothing. It’s nothing talaga,” she said. “Wala akong pake, as long as I’m doing right, and hindi ako nahihiya sa parents and family ko.”

It’s really nothing. I don’t care, as long as I’m doing right. And I won’t be embarrassed in front of my parents and family.)

The TV host also shared photos of her gathering with her fellow “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” hosts, including Legaspi.

Hours after Dasuri uploaded her vlog, Legaspi appeared to make a cryptic remark in response to the allegations on his Instagram Story, where he hoped that people would “let go.”

“Alright, it’s time to let go and have fun,” he wrote.

Alcantara, on the other hand, has yet to comment on Dasuri’s vlog, as of this writing.

While Legaspi and Alcantara made no confirmation of their relationship at first, they were hounded by breakup allegations last year when the latter wrote a brief “I knew it” on her X (formerly Twitter) account.
