Dispatch Unveils Hidden Stories In Lee Sun-kyun’s Blackmailing Case

Dispatch released the full story of how the late Lee Sun-kyun became the victim of blackmailing by two women

First of all, here are the main characters in this case:

K: Head of 1% entertainment establishment with 6 drug convictions sued for blackmailing by Lee Sun Kyun

P: Close sister of K who lived in the same apartment + arrested on charges of threatening K and extorting money from Lee Sun-kyun

L: An employee at K’s entertainment establishment who took drugs after being taught by K

S: L’s boyfriend who reported K’s drug use to police

G: Businessman and Lee Sun-kyun’s senior + a regular customer at K’s entertainment establishment who introduced Lee Sun-kyun to this place.

On September 14, 2023, K received a threatening text message from a hacker named “Nenemttin” so she screenshotted the message and told P about that because they were very close. P later told K about receiving the same message from Nenemttin.

P deceived K into believing that Nenemttin was Jung Da-eun, but the police later found out that the hacker was actually P. She sent the blackmailing message to K using a corporate phone. Under the name Nenemttin, P threatened K with three items, celebrity photos, L’s drug use, and celebrity H’s drug trafficking.

K was not afraid of the hacker at all. She confidently told P, “I won’t give them a penny”, then suddenly thought about blackmailing Lee Sun-kyun to extort money. At that time, K needed money to stop S from reporting to the police about K’s drug use so she decided to give it a try.

P threatened K for 100 million won. K contacted Lee Sun-kyun but raised the amount to 300 million won. In fact, K hid the fact that she gave drugs to Lee Sun-kyun from the actor but purposely told the police that she took drugs with Lee Sun-kyun.

After successfully deceiving Lee Sun-kyun and receiving 300 million won from the actor, K sent Nenemttin 100 million won and took all the remaining amount. In the end, K and P both lied to each other.

Noticing that K was trying to run away with all the money, P contacted S and provided K’s hair for S to report K’s drug use to the police. On October 18th, K was arrested.

6 days before K was arrested, P once again disguised herself as a hacker with a different ID, which is “Pyeonghwa”. This time, she sent a message to Lee Sun-kyun’s close acquaintance G, and asked G to reclaim 200 million from K. However, G did not respond.

P did many things to get the money under the new ID Pyeonghwa but failed. At that time, Lee Sun-kyun’s acquaintances thought K was the person who blackmailed Lee Sun-kyun and the hacker herself.

On October 15th, P texted G as Nenemttin to threaten Lee Sun-kyun but G no longer responded to the threat and only stated that they would prepare to take legal action. Nenemttin lowered the amount to 100 million won but Lee Sun-kyun’s side rejected it again. Having no choice, Nenemttin lowered the amount to 50 million won, and the deal was done.

Eventually, Lee Sun-kyun was threatened twice: K took 300 million won and ran away then P extorted 50 million won from him. The late actor was literally a victim of blackmail. The police did not mention anything about the blackmailing case when Lee Sun-kyun was alive but caught the hacker P immediately after his passing. Lee Sun-kyun lived as a suspect for 70 days and passed away. Neither the police nor the media cared about “victim Lee Sun-kyun” and dealt with the blackmail incident.
