For the first time, Dominic Roque gave a statement on the controversial separation of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Dominic is known to be a close friend of the two.
They are in the same gang called Nguya Squad, along with their other celebrity friends Patrick Sugui, Marco Gumabao, Ria Atayde, Zanjoe Marudo, Joe Vargas, Alora Sasam, and Joshua Garcia.
The group also includes real-life couples Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia, and Sofia Andres and Daniel Miranda.
On November 30, 2023, Kathryn and Daniel publicly confirmed that their eleven-year relationship had ended.
In Dominic’s interview with TV Patrol on Monday, January 22, 2024, entertainment reporter MJ Felipe asked him for his reaction about his friends’ breakup.

Although his friendship with Daniel is not good now, Kathryn and Daniel were also part of his life, so he was hurt by their breakup.
Dominic was said to be a witness to Kathryn and Daniel’s love until they fulfilled their dreams together.He said, “It’s sad because, you know, I’ve been part of their journey as a love team.
“I also saw how they grew up, how they did those things together.
“Unfortunately, I was really hurt too.”
Even though there was a misunderstanding between him and Daniel, Dominic did not lose his concern, especially for Kathryn.
Dominic said, “I’ve been friends for them for a long, long time.
“We had a falling out with Deej [Daniel] in the past years, [but] I’ve been in touch with Kath since.
“We didn’t lose the conversation, I mean the communication.”
DANIEL NOT INVITED TO DOMINIC-BEA’S WEDDING
Dominic did not hide from the public that they were not on speaking terms with Daniel since 2020.
In fact, this is said to be the reason why he will not invite Daniel to his wedding with Bea.
This is even though Kathryn is confirmed to be invited.
Dominic said, “Kath [invited].
“Because DJ [Daniel] and I are not okay yet.
“I mean, we’re not talking since 2020. We haven’t seen each other for the longest time since 2020.”
It can still be changed, especially since Dominic and Bea have not yet properly decided who they will invite to their wedding.
But apart from Kathryn, Marco, Khalil, and Patrick are also among those that Dominic is sure to invite.
