Just minutes after entering the party, everyone fell unconscious with horrifying consequences.
Recently, six men in Bach Bich town, An Duong district, Ha Nam province, China, suffered casualties while dining on charcoal hotpot in an enclosed room. Shortly after entering the event, everyone at the table fell unconscious. The family members of the victims stated that unfortunately, three of them had passed away.
According to Jimu News, the accident occurred at 11 p.m. on December 22nd. On that day, the six men were dining on a hotpot fueled by charcoal at a local eatery when suddenly, all of them lost consciousness. A family member of one of the deceased individuals posted several videos on social media on December 23rd, stating, ‘There were 6 people at a table, and 3 of them were completely paralyzed. I went to pick them up, but they were all unconscious.’
Mr. Vuong, a local resident, also recounted the incident. Specifically, four villagers and two residents from nearby villages gathered to eat charcoal hotpot, one of whom felt unwell during the meal and passed away after being taken home by his wife. Another person died at the restaurant, and the remaining individual passed away at the hospital. Subsequently, the authorities demanded the closure of the restaurant.
Town officials stated that the cause of death for the three individuals was carbon monoxide poisoning. The People’s Committee Office of An Duong district reported that the relevant agencies are handling the case.
