Elijah Canlas briefly spoke about the real score with his ex-girlfriend Miles Ocampo, two months after the latter revealed they are trying to rekindle their relationship.
On the sidelines of the “High Street” media conference, Canlas said in a chance interview with reporters — including INQUIRER.net — that he and Ocampo are “taking [things] easy.”
The actor said this in response to a question about their relationship status after he was spotted at Ocampo’s surprise “birthday salubong” with her loved ones last May 2.
“We’re doing good. We’re very happy. Of course, of course. We’re taking it easy,” he said.

Canlas previously said that he and Ocampo remain to be on good terms after their split, and are “enjoying what [they] have” so there would be “no pressure” between them.
Meanwhile, the “Eat Bulaga” host in March stopped short at saying the two of them are trying to patch up their relationship.
The “High Street” star and Ocampo were in a relationship for two years before confirming their breakup in November 2023.
