Gerald Anderson has nothing but good words about his girlfriend Julia Barretto’s upcoming movie with her ex Joshua Garcia.
In an interview with Cinema One’s The B Side posted on their TikTok account, Gerald was asked about what he felt about the Joshlia pairing’s reunion film, UN/HAPPY For You.
“I’m not sure kung ilang years sila hindi nagkasama, but I’ve been in that situation, marami sila mapapasaya na mga fans,” the actor said.
Gerald also praised the talent of the two stars and said he’s certain the reunion project will be a “quality” movie.
“They’re both great actors, so alam natin na magiging quality yung ipapalabas nilang proyekto,” he continued.
Joshua and Julia are set to reunite in an upcoming movie Un/happy For You after many attempts to reunite them. They last together appeared in a music video in 2021.
The movie will be directed by Petersen Vargas, who’s known for working on A Very Good Girl. There is still no exact date for the film’s premiere, but it is set to be released before the year ends.
Joshua and Julia starred in films and teleseryes together and dated for two years before they called it quits in 2019.
Meanwhile, Gerald and Julia also worked on a film, Between Maybes, in 2019. They then announced that they were dating in 2021.
