Amid the continuous emergence of new artists, Kaila Estrada has been making sure to make her own mark in showbiz other than being the daughter of veteran stars.
Kaila recently made waves online for her noteworthy performance for the Prime Video series Linlang. In fact, she landed on the X’s trending list from Nov. 2 until Nov. 3, with almost 3,000 posts as of writing, all commending her acting. The particular scene where she shone the most was her one-on-one confrontation with veteran star Maricel Soriano.

Born to veteran stars
Born on March 16, 1996, this Pisces star is the third daughter of notable stars and ex-couple John Estrada and Janice de Belen—who also made a remarkable performance in the drama series Dirty Linen.
She earned her Arts Management degree in 2017 at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. Other than herself and her parents, Kaila’s sibling Inah is also making her name in showbiz on GMA Network.
Versatile actress in the making
Although she had modeling projects before, Kaila made her acting debut amid the height of the pandemic with the show Viral Scandal, where she played Raven, the daughter of Mayor Troy (Jake Cuenca) and Audrey (Maxene Magalona).
One of her earliest projects include The Chosen One: Ang Piliserye ng Bayan, a hybrid series of PIE Channel. She also played as Karen Bordador in Maalala Mo Kaya. And apart from Linlang, she also stars as Bettina Tiu in the new Netflix series Can’t Buy Me Love starring Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan.
Kaila also took part in the second season of the special mini-series Love Bites with Chie Filomeno, Angela Ken, Anji Salvacion, and Joao Constancia, among others.
She is also set take part in the upcoming comedy-drama film Fruitcake with Joshua Garcia, Ria Atayde, Enchong Dee, Heaven Peralejo, and Dominic Ochoa, among others.
In hopes of widening her range as an actress, Kaila shared in an interview that she wanted to delve more into projects with the action-thriller genre.
She is a gym junkie
Other than honing her acting skills, Kaila makes sure to keep herself physically fit. In fact, one of her stress relievers is working out, specifically Muay Thai which she considers as her hobby.
She is a proud fur parent
Kaila, including her whole family, are fur parents. They own 11 dogs including Adam, Logan, and Chopper, but it is Sansa—inspired by her Sansa Stark of her favorite series Game of Thrones—who takes the spotlight the most on her Instagram feed.
Cooking is one of her interests
Apart from acting and working out, Kaila also loves cooking, especially anything pasta. In her March interview, she shared that one of her dreams is to own a restaurant or café.
