After debuting on Instagram and making an appearance on her close friend Jung Jae Hyung’s Youtube talk show ‘Fairy Jae Hyung’, the veteran actress Go Hyun Jung has further enhanced her online presence on Youtube with a video titled “I’m Go Hyun Jung… Is it okay to start Youtube like this?”
She starts off by explaining that she is starting a Youtube channel because she was surprised by the flood of positive comments about her on her appearance on ‘Fairy Jae Hyung’. She was so touched that she bawled her eyes out, as she finally felt like there might be people who actually support her. She has spent most of her career battling malicious comments that has made her cynical about the public’s view towards her. As she re-reads the supportive comments repeatedly, she receives an offer about creating her own content after the production team was impressed by said interview.
She explains her worries about being clueless about social media, but her excitement is also palpable throughout the video.
She also showcases her adorable side as she talks about her research on how to operate a Youtube channel, mentioning that she has read some manual on Google, and asking if the Silver Button is awarded from the States. Likewise, she confesses about how selfies are really awkward for her and how she is averse to complex technology.
It is heartbreaking to hear how it took the actress decades before she felt loved, but this also marks a new chapter for her as she embarks on a new journey.
