Heart Evangelista revealed that she had her fourth miscarriage.
The actress took to Instagram on May 12 to share a letter she penned for her unborn son, “FrancisKo.”
“I was sure to meet you soon. I had prepared a few things you may like but for some reason, your beating heart lost its way to us. I don’t blame you for being scared—it is a scary world but I would like to let you know I was prepared for you,” she wrote in the letter.
“Even if I am heartbroken, I will keep my heart intact while you find your way back to us. Your beating heart has healed me in so many ways. I love you, anak… I’ll be waiting for you,” she ended as she signed the letter “Mama Heart.”
In her caption, Heart shared that she lost her baby boy “a few days ago” and called this one of her “biggest heartbreaks.” She also went on to greet all mothers, fur moms, mothers to friends, and women with the same struggles as hers.
In the comments section of her post, personalities like her sister Cam Ongpauco, Bea Alonzo, and Michael Leyva expressed their support for Heart.
“Love you,” Cam wrote.
“Mahigpit na yakap,” added Bea.
In March, the socialite opened up about losing another baby earlier in February.
“I thought she was gonna make it, but she didn’t so that one was a bit hard for me,” she said. “I was really preparing for her, so I thought I was gonna have a baby at that time.”
Heart, who is married to Senator Chiz Escudero, previously shared her motherhood journey. She lost twin babies in a miscarriage in 2018 and, in September 2022, underwent in vitro fertilization which turned out to be “one of the toughest, challenging times” of her life as her body did not react well to the medicine she was injected with.
