Heart Evangelista is excited to start a new chapter with her husband, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero, as she counted down the days to their vow renewal ceremony happening this month.
On her Instagram page on Sunday, Feb. 4, Evangelista shared a photo of a flower bouquet adorned with gemstones while noting that the ceremony will take place in 10 days.
This means their special day will take place sometime on Feb. 14, which incidentally falls on Valentine’s Day and her birthday.
“She said, ‘Flowers please.’ He said ‘couture’ @eliesaabworld, thank you for my beautiful gift. 10 more days to go #chizheart #chapter2,” she wrote, tagging the prominent Lebanese fashion designer, Elie Saab.
Escudero confirmed in an ANC interview that he and Evangelista will renew their vows in an intimate ceremony, although he remained tightlipped about the details of their special day.
“It’s not really something that the public needs to know coming from us, but there’s a lot to celebrate in life right now — in our family, in our marriage, between us, with her. Not so much with me but that’s good enough for me as well — my marriage, my family, and my home,” he was quoted as saying. “It really depends because if you are truly in love with each other you can actually do it every year if you want.
Escudero and Evangelista tied the knot in an exclusive ceremony on Balesin Island on Feb. 15, 2015. Their wedding became the subject of headlines back then since the Kapuso star walked down the aisle without the company of her parents.
But it seemed Escudero’s rift with Evangelista’s parents is all in the past, as the actress spoke about her father and husband being on good terms in an April 2021 vlog.
Their vow renewal ceremony is also a special one for the couple following a rough patch that they had in 2022.
