Hey Pandas, What Are Three Of Your Happiest Memories Of Childhood That You Still Remember Today?

First that comes to mind is my dad calling home via satellite phone. He was a fisherman and was away for a month at a time. He called to tell us how much he missed us and loved us. We could feel the love in is words. Second, going camping with my family. Me and my siblings going to sleep in sleeping bags in a dark tent, heated with a gas-stove, mom and dad sitting out front talking, or maybe having Irish Coffey while using the gas stove to heat up the front. Dad sometimes sitting just outside playing his guitar. Then there are all the family-camping-gatherings. All the extended family goes camping together, sits outside the tents singing, my dad and his brother playing the guitars, singing old folk songs, drinking, talking and laughing. Us kids gone to sleep while listening to the “partying” outside our tent. I had a beautiful childhood and was, and still am, very loved.

My first is riding around with my dad( my hero and best friend) in his wrecker picking up cars. I miss those days and miss my Dad even more. Secondly is winning the county spelling bee. And last is when I was playing bball across the road from my grandmother’s house. It was poring down the rain at her house and sun was shining on the court just across the narrow road.

Swinging on my little swingset and not having a care in the world and not having to worry about the stress of school and everyone expecting the absolute best from me……

Playing soccer with a basketball with my doggo (it was his favorite thing to do)

When i got to paint my room pink…..(its blue now) (but that was the best thing in the world for my little self)
