Hyuna Allegedly Posts Date Photos With Yong Jun Hyung On Instagram Amid Reignited “Burning Sun” Scandal

“Hyuna seems to be having a relaxing time, unaffected by the negativity.”

Korean media has accused popular soloist Hyuna of sneakily posting her extremely controversial boyfriend, Yong Jun Hyung, on Instagram. Hyuna’s posts come soon after BBC‘s damning documentary about the infamous “Burning Sun” club and related chatrooms reignited the scandal.

Just a few hours ago, on May 28, Hyuna took to Instagram to share several photos of herself in Japan. The star can be seen enjoying a hearty meal, shopping in different stores, and showing off the cute accessories she purchased there. Problems arose when netizens spotted the reflection of a man in one of her pictures.

In the reflection, the man can be seen taking the picture Hyuna posted on Instagram. Netizens are now speculating the man is none other than Yong Jun Hyung, Hyuna’s boyfriend and one of the K-Pop idols involved in the notorious “Burning Sun” scandal.

Despite receiving criticism related to Yong Jun Hyung recently, HyunA seems to be having a relaxing time, unaffected by the negativity.

But, whether Hyuna is affected or not, her Instagram comments continue to be filled with fans criticizing and asking the idol to do better. She has received backlash ever since first publicly announcing her relationship with Yong back in January, due to his involvement in the “Burning Sun” scandal.

Soon after the scandal first blew up, Yong explained his involvement in an official apology after departing BEAST in March 2019. He admitted that — though he was not part of the group chat — he had personally received molka or illegal footage from Jung Joon Young. Yong then went ahead with his military enlistment that same year. He has since attempted to return to the industry through various activities but has consistently faced criticism and backlash.
With the BBC documentary putting fresh attention on the horrific sex crimes, Hyuna and Yong’s relationship has become the focus of public outrage again.
