In fact, GD has so many luxury vehicles in his collection, he was declared the K-pop idol with the most expensive car collection by Mnet’s TMI News.
Rolls-Royce Ghost
Whether he’s heading to the airport or arriving on set, G-Dragon knows how to get around in supreme style.
He has also been seen with a black version of the car, including in 2016 when he arrived to film the popular MBC show, Infinite Challenge.
Bentley Continental GT
Another luxurious car he is known to drive is the Bentley Continental GT, which he was pictured leaning against in 2013. Known for its 6.0 litre engine, the starting price is around 390 million won (US$330,000) without add-ons, but since GD is known to drive the limited-edition version, his model is likely worth much more.
Lamborghini Aventador
Fans will have noticed that the Lamborghini Aventador seems to be one of G-Dragon’s favourite cars, as he’s been spotted several times with the model in various different colours and styles. He even featured the US$560,000 vehicle in his 2013 “Who You?” music video, making the moment extra-special for a thousand fans who he invited on set with him, per AllKpop.
He was also spotted in a sleek black version of the supercar outside Seoul’s Hotel Shilla back in 2015, per Yahoo! News, when rumours were rife that he was dating Japanese-American model Kiko Mizuhara. Indeed, it was hard not to notice first the car, and then who was emerging from it.
And it’s not only monochrome colours the idol goes for. He once customised a Lamborghini Aventador with a bold graffiti wrap for an Inkigayo performance of “Good Boy” in 2014, showing fans just how out there his tastes can be.
The Bugatti mishap
When G-Dragon posted a Photoshopped Instagram Story of himself superimposed over the blue seat belt buckle of a Bugatti Chiron in July, the internet went crazy. If he had indeed bought the supercar, his fans surmised, he would be only one of two people to own the US$3.8 million car in Korea, Koreaboo reported, meaning fans who spotted the car in the street had a 50 per cent chance of spotting GD inside.
Alas, it was later confirmed by media outlet TenAsia that the pic G-Dragon posted had actually just been snapped at an exhibition. Although the rumours were unfounded, it certainly wasn’t beyond the realm of possibility that the star could have made the purchase, considering reports a month earlier that he’d splurged US$13 million on a luxury penthouse in Seoul, per AllKpop.
His love of Super73 bikes
When G-Dragon isn’t dashing here and there in flashy cars, he’s also known for indulging his love of motorbikes – specifically of premium electric motorbike Super73, per Economic Daily. Super73’s top models range from US$3,500 to US$5,200.
According to Koreaboo, G-Dragon even gifted a customised Super73 bike to his brother-in-law, which he hand-decorated himself with Peaceminusone brand accessories.
