Limited ang maaring magkomento sa mga post ni Iris kaya kakaunti lamang ang nakapaglagay ng kanilang reaksiyon.

Unang napansin ng netizens ang sweetness nina Iris at Xian dahil sa nag-viral na litrato nilang dalawa kung saan magkaakbay at tila magka-holding hands din sila.

In-upload ang larawan ng Watanabe Riding Development ang nasabing larawan, kung saan may iba pang mga kasama sina Xian at Iris, sa Facebook noong February 13, 2024.

Bago pa nito, pinag-usapan ang tila pagsasapubliko ni Xian sa bago nitong girlfriend na si Iris.

Noong May 5, 2024, ibinahagi ni Xian ang ilang behind-the-scenes photos ng pelikulang kanyang pinamamahalaan bilang writer-director, ang Kuman Thong.

Sa Thailand kinukunan ang mga eksena ng pelikula, kung saan si Iris ang producer.

Sa mga ibinahaging BTS ni Xian, makikitang kumportable sila ni Iris sa location na magkatabi pa ang mga upuan sa set.

Ang inilagay lamang na caption ni Xian sa post ay ang title ng pelikula.

Hinuha ng netizens, ito na ang hudyat na unti-unti nang pagpapakilala ni Xian sa bagong karelasyon.

May 2, 2024, kinumpirma ni Xian na may namamagitan nga sa kanila ni Iris sa eksklusibong panayam niya sa Esquire Philippines.

Inusisa ng online magazine si Xian kung may katotohanan ang mga naglalabasang espekulasyong may relasyon sila ni Iris.

Diretsong sagot niya: “Yes, I’m seeing Iris.

“Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations.

“We are seeing each other and we are very happy.”

Sabi ni Xian sa Esquire Philippines, nagdesisyon siyang magsalita halos limang buwan matapos ang kontrobersiyal na announcement ng breakup nila ni Kim Chiu.

Ito raw ay upang bigyang-linaw ang mga haka-haka sa dahilan ng paghihiwalay nila ng dating nobya na wala naman daw katotohanan.

December 23, 2023, kinumpirma nina Kim at Xian sa publiko na nagtapos na ang labindalawang taon nilang pagmamahalan.

Walang binanggit na dahilan ang dalawa, ngunit “mutual decision” daw ang kanilang paghihiwalay.

XIAN LIM DENIES STEAK ISSUE WITH KIM CHIU

Mariin namang pinabulaanan ni Xian ang tungkol sa steak rumor na naging usap-usapan ng netizens kaugnay sa hiwalayan nila ng ex-girlfriend na si Kim.

Lumikha ng ingay ang steak issue dahil, diumano, nagpaluto pa si Xian ng steak kay Kim, kumain, tsaka ito nagsabing itigil na nila ang kanilang labindalawang taong relasyon.

December 23, 2023, inihayag ni Kim, kasunod ni Xian, na naghiwalay na sila.

“She also advised me to not mind all the fake news and the things people are saying about me, that deep inside, we know the truth and that’s all that matters.

“She also said that if people like to believe all these, then there’s nothing I can do about it.

“She’s my support, my pillar, the wall I lean on, even until now. I’m lucky that she’s a strong woman.

“Other people might have broken down because of what’s happening. She’s been getting harmful, below-the-belt messages, even threats. For some reason, people got hold of her number.”

Kasunod nito, sinagot ni Xian ang tungkol sa steak rumor na lumabas noon sa vlog ni Ogie Diaz.

Ayon sa kuwento ni Ogie, nagpaluto si Xian kay Kim ng steak. Excited pa raw si Kim na ipagluto ang dating boyfriend.

Matapos daw kumain ni Xian, doon na nito sinabing maghiwalay na sila.

Sa panayam ng Inquirer, mariing pinabulaanan ni Xian na may ganung eksena.

Saad ni Xian, “There’s no truth to it. It’s absurd. I don’t see where it’s coming from.

“Is it because people are using us for entertainment? I cannot orchestrate that.”

Diin pa niya, “I wasn’t the one who initiated the breakup.

“All these fake news, all these dagdag-bawas, are just too much already.”

DID XIAN LIM CALL KIM CHIU AFTER THEIR BREAKUP?

May naglabasan din kaugnay ng pagkatuklas ng netizens sa bagong karelasyon ni Xian sa film producer na si Iris.

Tinawagan umano ni Xian si Kim upang sabihing maaari nang ianunsiyo ni Kim na may bagong girlfriend na si Xian.

Nilinaw ni Xian na totoong tinawagan niya si Kim tungkol sa kanilang breakup, ngunit iba umano ang konteksto nito kumpara sa lumabas na balita.

Paliwanag ni Xian: “When this story first came to me, I didn’t understand it, to be honest. There’s also no truth to it. But I’ll say this, the truth is that I really did call Kim.

“When we parted ways, there were various stories coming out. Some parties are purposely becoming noisy. This was also the time when my family started getting messages that were below the belt.

“If I may give an example for the sake of context, there was an instance when they said, ‘Sana mamatay na ang lola mo.’ They even brought up her cancer.

“This was from a supporter whom we know and eventually became like family. It had already gotten way out of hand during the two weeks since we broke up, so I had to give her a call.

“This was around November. I was actually begging Kim, saying we should release a statement that we’ve already gone our separate ways, that we separated on good terms at walang sigawan.

“Of course, there were tears, pero walang masamang tinapay. I said, ‘Can we just release it? A lot of people are getting dragged into this, including my mom and grandmother.’

“I begged her that both of us could release a statement, but she said not yet because they’re doing the press launch of her series. I said, ‘But this isn’t work-related. It’s personal.’ That’s the truth to it.

“I don’t want any conflict between us. My intention now is to tell the truth. that I called to beg her, but she said, ‘in time.’

“I guess by that she meant late December, before Christmas. I don’t know why they decided for us to do it then. I was just glad that we both got to release statements. I guess some people, whoever they are, want us fighting.

“We haven’t spoken after I begged for the statement, but we are on good terms. From the time we separated, we were OK.”
