BIGGEST INVESTMENT

Jed acknowledges the material success that his career has brought—from owning a house to having vehicles for his frequent travels.

He emphasizes, “With material stuff naman, yeah, I was able to buy my own house. My vehicles kasi importante since we travel a lot.”

But, he says with a serious look on his face, these are not the things he would consider his heaviest holding.

Over the years, he has tirelessly worked to cultivate a positive image, ensuring that when people hear the name “Jed Madela,” they associate it with good music and unforgettable performances.

The 46-year-old balladeer explains, “I really work hard to have a good reputation.

“And when people hear my name, ‘Jed Madela,’ they have an instant idea kung who is Jed Madela, and his good music.”

He adds, “I try my best to give a good performance, may it be a small show or a big show.

“Pag sinabing Jed Madela, I try to deliver. I try to deliver as much as I can. So yun. Yun yung pinaka-investment ko sa industriya: It’s my reputation and my name.”

NEXT GOAL

While reflecting on his achievements, Jed unveils his next personal goal: to create lasting memories with his parents.

Expressing a desire to travel with his mom and dad, who are still active adventurers in their 70s, he shares their dream of visiting the Vatican and Italy’s Rome.

This time, it’s all for his parents, “I really want to save up for my mom and my dad.

“That I get to travel with them for years, kasi my mom and dad, they’re okay pa naman.

“My mom and dad are seventy na sila, but they’re still going around the world. Nag-iikut-ikot pa, mga gala pa rin sila,” he chuckles.
