Actresses Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Ji-won are reviewing the casting offer for the drama “The Price of Confession”
On January 9th, Kim Ji-won’s agency HighZium Studio said, “‘The Price of Confession’ is among the projects that she received offers”.
“The Price of Confession” depicts the bloody chronicles of two women entangled in a murder case. The plot centers on two women without no previous connections meeting in prison and facing unpredictable situations in which it is uncertain whether they will become the best or worst for each other.
Director Lee Eung-bok of “Descendants of the Sun” was supposed to direct this project but during the process of reorganization, director Lee Jung-hyo was newly appointed.
Actresses Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee made headlines when they were cast at the same time but eventually dropped out. As such, the production was suspended once in the first half of 2023.
Later, Jeon Do-yeon reportedly considered appearing in this drama as the female lead, arousing keen public interest once again.
Earlier, an official from Jeon Do-yeon’s agency Management SOOP said, “Jeon Do-yeon received an offer for ‘The Price of Confession’ and it is one of the scripts she’s reviewing”.
Attention is focused on whether Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Ji-won will join “The Price of Confession” and work together.
Meanwhile, “The Price of Confession” is expected to premiere on OTT platforms.
