Jolo Revilla opened up about the high-risk pregnancy of his wife, Angelica Alita, sharing that she lost a lot of blood after giving birth to their first child.
The actor-politician shared a short video on his social media pages, showing their journey from labor to welcoming their baby, Lauren Angela, last Jan. 30 in Los Angeles, USA.
According to Healthline, this rare condition is an “abnormality in the shape of the placenta,” which increases the risk for pregnancy complications, including placental abruption or miscarriage.
According to Jolo, while they are grateful that their child was born healthy, he can’t help but get scared after his wife lost a lot of blood due to complications.
He went on to express thanks to all their followers who sent their support and prayers, as well as to Alita’s doctor for saving her life.
We love you!” he concluded.
Jolo currently serves as the first district representative of Cavite. He and Angelica tied the knot in 2019. They announced their pregnancy in August 2023.
