Fans of one of showbiz’s biggest couples were left heartbroken by the news, especially since there are also speculations that DJ allegedly cheated on Kath with another Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes.
Further, other stars were being dragged to the ~*drama*~, including Kath and DJ’s good friend Joshua Garcia. On Twitter, the actor took it upon himself to slam a report claiming he tolerated DJ’s alleged connection with Andrea, saying it’s “fake news.”
The post includes a photo of Joshua and a statement that reads: “Matagal na kitang sinabihan na ayusin mo ‘yung ginagawa mo at ‘yung relasyon niyo ni Kath, pero hindi mo ginawa at tinuloy mo ‘yung mga kalokohang ginagawa niyo ni Andrea.”
“Fake news!” Joshua wrote.
In a recent interview, Andrea was asked about how she was holding up amid the accusations, and to which, she answered: “Di pa puwede mag-stop. Ang dami pa akong kailangan gawin in life. Madami pa akong kailangan bayaran (I can’t stop [working]. I still have so many things to do, and so many bills to pay).”
Seemingly unaffected, Brillantes instead went on to describe the lessons she learned in portraying her feisty character in Senior High. “Siya yung laging palaban, siya yung laging sumusugod pero doon mo rin maaaral na hindi dapat sumusugod, dapat nag i-i-strategize ka rin and pino-process mo muna ang emotions mo,” she shared.
