BIG Naughty has found himself in some controversy regarding his performance etiquette. On June 4 KST, BIG Naughty took the stage at the ‘Tone & Music Festival 2023‘ held at Olympic Park in Seoul. After singing for a while, he left the stage in the middle of his performance to go and kiss a woman. The woman was known to be BIG Naughty’s girlfriend.
Some fans criticized BIG Naughty’s actions through social media and online communities. Many fans pointed out that it may be a romantic action for the two of them, but it was a sudden and suspicious action for the paying audience. It is also questionable whether the action was prearranged with the organizers. Fans were further angered because of past instances where the rapper seemed to have little regard for the fans by arriving to performances late.
In response to the fans’ reactions, an official from H1gher Music stated, “We were made aware of the controversy over the attitude on stage, and we are looking into it.”
