Kim Hee-chul opened up about the rumor surrounding him and his SM juniors.
Rumors have been circulating online about artists belonging to SM Entertainment. In particular, NCT Haechan and Johnny have been rumored to have slept with three Japanese girls who are fans of other NCT members. SM Entertainment is suffering from such a rumor, which allegedly made its stock price fall today.
On May 4th, Kim Hee-chul answered a straightforward question from a fan from the platform Bubble. The fan asked, “Hee-chul, what the hell did you do in Japan?” And Kim answered, “I’m actually observing this rumor, too,” adding, “I’m just talking to the company because I’m afraid I’ll cause an accident (if making an official statement) on Instagram.”
“I’m telling you briefly here because I am worried you might be worried and disappointed. I’ve never eaten, drank, or met my juniors outside of the company. I don’t even have their contact information,” he said, dismissing the rumor of his involvement.
