Kwon Eunbi Buys Building Worth $1.7 Million in Songjeong-dong

On March 16, Top Star News reported that the sexy soloist and former IZ*ONE leader became a building owner after buying an estate at Songjeong-dong, Seoul.

According to the report, the “Glitch” singer signed a contract on March 12 to purchase a single-family home located along Jungnangcheon in Songjeong-dong, Seoul for 2.4 billion KRW (or approximately $1.7M).

The building in question is a small building with 3- above-ground floors, 1 basement floor that is built in a land area of 106㎡ and a total floor area of 192.45㎡.

Eunbi will have to pay the remaining balance in June and it will be transferred to her name as the new landlord.

Regarding the location of the building she bought, Songjeong-dong is considered to be a place with many favorable development opportunities, such as the undergrounding of the Dongbu Expressway and the Jungnangcheon waterfront improvement project.

In fact, this location is popular among Korean celebrities including S.E.S Bada, who also purchased a building in the neighborhood in September 2019.

Singer-CEO Hong Jin Young also bought a building here in August 2023, under the name of IMH Entertainment, the entertainment agency she founded in 2019.

Just across her building is the real estate property of actress Ko So Young she bought in 2022.

Industry insiders also added that aside from its development opportunities, Kwon Eunbi also selected a place that perfectly suits her job as a K-pop idol since Seongjeong-dong has quick access to Gangnam and other places where K-pop agencies and broadcasting stations are located.

Kwon Eunbi’s Recent Activities

Meanwhile, Kwon Eunbi was lauded for her passionate and hardworking personality that led her to where she is now.

From being a backup dancer and underrated idol, she rose as one of the top K-pop soloists and is now, a landlord.

In particular, Eunbi debuted as a member of the girl group Ye-A in 2014 under the stage name, Kazoo. Unfortunately, they didn’t achieve even domestic success and later disbanded in 2015 without an official notice.

Prior to that, she worked as a backup dancer for top-tier second-gen groups including SECRET and Girl’s Day.

In 2018 then, she finally achieved success after she debuted as IZ*ONE’s leader, a group formed through Mnet’s “Produce 48.”

Her popularity continued since then until the team disbanded in 2021. At the time, Kwon didn’t push for a re-debut in another girl group and pursued a solo career instead.

While her start as a soloist wasn’t that great, she once again proved that hard work pays off after she became a hot topic for her “Water Bomb” stage in Seoul last summer, in which she also gained the moniker “Water Bomb Goddess.”

This 2024, she aims to expand her career in the acting field, announcing her debut film, “Stolen Identity: Final Hacking Game,” which is set to be unveiled in the fall of this year.
