Actress Kyline Alcantara was in high spirits during her recent interview as one of the celebrity guests at a recent Zion event in Pasay City.
“Naku sobrang saya ng start ng 2024. I can feel that there’s good energy this 2024. I’m really looking forward to it,” she told the press when she arrived.
The 21-year-old actress is gearing up for a new series on the Kapuso network.
“I’m really excited for that kasi pagbabalik na rin sa pagiging kontrabida aat na-miss ko talaga siya ng sobra sobra so sobra akong na-e-excite at kinakabahan kasi matagal tagal na rin akong hindi naging kontrabida,” she said.
“Before it was my comfort zone but now aaminin ko na it’s not part of my comfort zone anymore. So it’s outside of my comfort zone kaya ganun,” she added.
Still being hounded by rumors regarding the real status of her relationship with love team partner Mavy Legaspi, Kyline admitted that she looks forward to focusing on a solo acting career this year if not being paired with a new onscreen partner.
“We’ll never know. But so far, pagiging solo naman kasi na-miss ko rin naman siya. You know, I don’t regret anything na nangyari nung 2023 so na-miss ko na magkaroon ako ng partner. It’s part of my career,” she said.
“Of course, I’m looking for positive things in 2024. 2023, it was a good year. I’ve met the happiest and saddest version of myself and that’s okay. But I am great now. I am thriving (laughs),” she added.
In a TV interview earlier this month, Kyline revealed how she planned to face this year on a braver front.
“They’re my source of strength nowadays, especially for the past few days. And not just my family, but my brothers, my friends, ‘yung mga tao po talaga na nakakakilala kung sino ako,” she said.
“Naramdaman ko po ‘yung pag mamahal, pag susupporta, pagpo-protekta, at pag depensa nila sakin. La nueva kontrabida will be back. Braver, fiercer, stronger. Kyline Alcantara 2.0,” she added.
