The views couldn’t have been more different
LE SSERAFIM‘s viral clips showing them not singing their lines to prove their live vocals receive shockingly different reactions from Korean and international fans.
On April 20, LE SSERAFIM had their second performance at Coachella 2024.
After being criticized for their vocals, international fans were obsessed with seeing the members intentionally stop singing to prove they were singing live and how stable their vocals were. In particular, Kazuha and Eunchae seemed to stop singing in the middle of a line to show that they were definitely singing live and how strong their vocals were.
Yet, when the clip of Kazuha was posted on the Korean forum theqoo…
It seemed like Korean netizens didn’t see the clips in a positive light, as many thought it added to the “controversy” and that it didn’t have the intended impact.
- “Are they intentionally creating un-backtracked parts to make it seem like a live performance when they sporadically drop out of singing?”
- “It’s like, what are they trying to prove? People could easily just delete the AR.”
- “That performance was truly lacking even the bare minimum of effort.”
- “Did they not sing during that part out of fear of getting caught?”
- “They should have just lip-synced openly and put more effort into the performance. Getting caught like this only adds to the ridicule. Sigh.”
It seems like Korean and international fans have very different views on the members’ actions, and you can read more about it below.
